Bring your church family on an unforgettable journey to the Hallelujah Mountains of China! EdenQuest: Hallelujah Mountains is a 3-Session, LifeSTREAMS family VBS experience that invites intergenerational communities to explore God’s good creation together.
More than just a program, EdenQuest is a spark for renewal and revival. In a world where many feel isolated, this experience proclaims the good news that God is building a family where everyone has a place and everyone is welcome through Jesus Christ. Rooted in Scripture, prayer, worship, and hands-on discovery, Hallelujah Mountains helps families pause from the busyness of life to enter a time of rest, revival, and wonder. Invite your neighbors, your second cousin twice removed and that nice lady down the street you've been meaning to ask to church! It's a Fall Harvest Festival VBS for the whole community.
We believe that ministry should be joyful, not stressful. EdenQuest is intentionally designed to be sustainable and budget-friendly. You won't find any hidden costs, special products or decoration kits to order from us. Instead, our program runs beautifully using readily available, everyday materials you can easily source locally or find right in your church supply closets.
Whether you are planning a Harvest Festival, a traditional family VBS, a weekend retreat, or a creation care outreach event, this curriculum offers a flexible way to bring people together. Journey Together
Expedition Map - the Bible!
In Session 1, Tribe Members join Jia the Asiatic Black Bear and Uncle Li to discover that they are created with a specific purpose—just like the seeds that "go out in joy" to grow the forest. Through the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:3-9) and the promise of John 15:9-11, Tribe Members learn that being exactly who God made them to be brings a full and purposeful joy to the world.
In Session 2, Meilin the Clouded Leopard gets caught in a mountain storm but finds courage through Yúzé, learning that even the most overwhelming "floods" are under God's control. By exploring Mark 4:35-41, Tribe Members discover that just as Jesus spoke peace to the wind and waves, He is always present to provide stillness and safety in our own scary moments. This trek reminds every explorer to "be led forth in peace," trusting that no storm lasts forever when the Son of God is in your boat.
In Session 3, Pangoleo and Uncle Li reach the summit and hear the "Creation Song," a rhythmic heartbeat of praise where the bamboo forests and stone towers seem to join in worship. Through the story of Jesus on the Mountain (Luke 9:28-36), Tribe Members witness the glory of the Transfiguration and learn that when we listen to God’s Son, our lives become a chorus of gratitude. This final trek brings Isaiah 55:12 to life, as the mountains burst into song and the trees of the field clap their hands in a vibrant celebration of the Creator.

Mountain Guide Team
Journey alongside six protected and endangered species native to the Zhangjiajie Mountains. Your Tribe Members will have the chance to connect closer with them at their Quest Stations.
Pangoleo (Chinese Pangolin): Our observant protagonist who leads the way. He is energetic and adventurous- find him leading Tribe Members at Ridgetop Challenge!
Uncle Li (Sambar Deer):
A true Guardian of the Forest and Steward. Uncle Li is the wise mentor who guides the Tribe Members throughout their quest. Find him at Heaven's Gate each day sharing Bible Lessons and music!
Meilin (Clouded Leopard):
A shy and quiet creature, representing the rare and delicate beauty of God’s craftsmanship. She loves to tell stories about the forest and you can find her each day at the Yellow Stone Pavilion
Jia (Asiatic Black Bear): A warm, joyful encourager who loves to snack and cook delicious meals
Jia is the Head Chef at our Paddy Tai Treats Station
LuKai (Chinese Giant Salamander): The largest of his kind on Earth, bringing a sense of ancient wonder to the mountain's waters.
LuKai is devoted to natural crafts that tell stories and he is the Tribe Leader at Tujia Arts & Crafts Gallery
Yúzé (Golden Snub-nosed Monkey): Full of energy and curiosity for the trek he is courageous and strong. His curiosity is best seen as he heads up the Tribe at Sky Pillar Science Lab
