Ana-Genesis Vacation Bible School programs aren’t just another VBS. They are built on something bigger called LifeSTREAMS - the core of what we do at Ana-Genesis, which is really just a fancy way of saying, “Hey, we want kids (and, honestly, all of us) to grow and worship  in every part of life as we follow Jesus.” We mean all the things: heart, mind, and even those hands that love to make a mess!

So, what’s with the LifeSTREAMS name? Glad you asked! Think of LifeSTREAMS as the “how do we actually grow?” guide. It’s not just about sitting and listening (though there’s a bit of that). We worship by jumping in and doing stuff—making, moving, connecting with new people, sharing, exploring, and sometimes laughing at ourselves along the way.

 

Here’s how it works:

• Doing things (yes, even if you trip over your own feet)

• Creating (messy crafts included)

• Moving (sometimes just to the snack table—no judgment)

• Exploring (ever wonder why glitter never goes away? Science!)

• Practicing (because nobody gets it perfect the first time—nope, not even close)

Because real faith? It’s not just head knowledge. It’s living it out, day by day, in real life with real people. Our STEM and Science-Focused VBS Curriculum are all about being planted by STREAMS of living water (Psalms 1:3)

• S — Scripture: Learning God’s Word and what’s true. Spoiler: it’s good news!

• T — Technology: Using cool tools and coming up with fresh ideas on purpose.

• R — Recreation: Playing, moving, and learning how to stick with it—even when you’d rather sit out (yup, we get it). Building relationships through team activities.

• E — Engineering: Building, designing, and solving real problems. Ever built a marshmallow catapult for Jesus? Now’s your chance! Learning how to see the order and chaos in this world as part of God’s plan

• A — Arts: Creating and expressing what’s true and beautiful (glitter is optional, but encouraged).

• M — Music, Motion & Mission: Singing, dancing, and letting music help the good stuff stick. Connecting to community in real ways that count

• S — Science: Exploring, asking “why?” and learning how to take care of this amazing world God made. Creation stations that investigate amazing animals, biodiversity, food security, and good stewardship.

 

So, how does this shape each VBS? Simple: every single part connects to LifeSTREAMS. We don’t just talk about truth—we roll up our sleeves and DO it. We don’t just talk faith—we live it, laugh about it, and sometimes trip over it and try again. We don’t keep learning in cute little boxes; we mix it all up so it actually makes sense in real life.
